2.1 Order Processing
The personal data we collect is forwarded to the delivery company responsible for shipment as part of the contract processing, provided this is necessary for the delivery of the goods.
Your payment data is forwarded to the authorized credit institution as part of the payment processing if this is necessary for the payment process.
If the delivery of the goods is carried out by the courier DHL (Deutsche Post AG, Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn), we will provide your email address to DHL prior to the delivery of the goods to coordinate a delivery date or to communicate the shipment status, provided you have expressly consented as follows:
“I agree that my email address may be forwarded to DHL (Deutsche Post AG, Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn) so that DHL can contact me via email before delivering the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or providing status updates on the shipment. I can revoke my consent at any time.”
Otherwise, we only provide the recipient's name and delivery address to DHL. In this case, it is not possible to coordinate the delivery date in advance with DHL or to receive status updates on the shipment.
2.2 Credit or Identity Check
When paying via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or, if offered, “purchase on account” via PayPal, we forward your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter “PayPal”) as part of the payment processing. PayPal reserves the right to perform a credit check for the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or, if offered, “purchase on account” via PayPal. The result of the credit check regarding the statistical probability of payment default is used by PayPal to decide whether to provide the respective payment method. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). If score values are included in the credit report result, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data is included in the calculation of score values.
